Senior Architect

Job Description

An experienced Senior Architect to lead the architectural design and delivery of Design & Build projects across residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. This role spans the full project lifecycle—from concept development and design direction through technical documentation and on-site execution—ensuring design intent is translated seamlessly into built form.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead the design process, including developing and implementing design concepts, and ensuring that designs meet the client's requirements and budget.
• Project Management: Manage cross-functional teams, including architects, drafter & BIM, and contractors if needed, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including understanding their needs and preferences, and ensuring that their expectations are met.
• Design Development: Develop and refine design concepts, including preparing and presenting design proposals to stakeholder.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Construction Administration: Administer construction contracts and ensuring that construction is completed in accordance with the approved design.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all design work meets the required quality standards, including conducting design reviews and ensuring that designs are compliant with relevant regulations and codes.
• Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices into design solutions.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including vendor management & procurement, internal project and construction team, to ensure that design solutions are integrated and coordinated.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve design solutions.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. Overseas graduate is a bonus.
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on Design & Build type projects.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in design software, including Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, including experience managing cross-functional teams and leading design efforts on large-scale projects.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
